Zaineb Waqar is a high school student from Lahore Grammar School in Pakistan with a deep passion for computer science, data ethics, and technology for social good. She has completed CS50 and participated in programs like Girls Who Code and the Stanford Neuroscience Journal Club, blending her interests in science and computing. As the founder of a student-led NGO, Zaineb uses tech to drive real-world impact in education and mental health access. Beyond academics, she loves solving algorithmic problems, mentoring younger students, and exploring the intersection of tech and global development. She’s especially passionate about making STEM fields more accessible to underrepresented communities. As an ICSC Ambassador, Zaineb is excited to contribute to a global network of curious and committed learners, while encouraging more students—especially girls—to explore the transformative power of computer science.
