Peace Cyebukayire is a junior from Kigali, Rwanda, studying math and computer science. She is passionate about using technology to solve AI Literacy challenges and about showing young people that computer science is not just technical, but also a creative tool to serve humanity. Her work has taken many shapes; from helping build national AI-powered platforms for inclusive finance at Rwanda’s Ministry of ICT and Innovation, to researching how AI can be designed to support children's education at Emory NLP Lab. At Emory, Peace is eager to keep exploring how to build sustainable and ethical AI solutions while also volunteering in programs, like Girls Who Code, that connect students with global opportunities, mentorship, and peer-led communities that nurture their curiosity, confidence, and spirit of service.
