Marcel Ambo Ndowah is a passionate Machine Learning & AI Engineer with a strong foundation in Mathematics. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Marcel specialized in advanced topics like Algebra, Probability, Calculus, and Differential Equations, which formed the backbone of his problem-solving skills. His journey into technology began with electives in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Python, fueling a growing interest in software development. After completing his studies, Marcel self-taught using platforms like Kaggle, W3Schools, and GeeksforGeeks. His career pivoted toward Machine Learning after joining the AWS Scholarship Program, where he discovered his true passion for AI. Marcel earned professional certifications in Machine Learning and Generative AI through Coursera, and contributed to an open-source project in the Outreachy program, enhancing the OCaml API Diff algorithm. With a strong leadership background, having served as President of the Mathematics Student Association, Marcel mentors aspiring STEM students. He is actively seeking opportunities in AI engineering, contributing to open-source projects, and staying up-to-date with the latest AI research. His vision is to develop innovative AI solutions while continuously enhancing his knowledge and skills in this rapidly evolving field.
