I am Nafees, a computer science graduate from Universiti Sains Malaysia specialising in AI, and a holder of the MITx MicroMasters in Statistics and Data Science. My journey has been shaped by discipline, curiosity, and a refusal to stay in one lane. I co-founded a school in rural India, built and shipped real AI products, and published computer vision research — all while navigating an unconventional, self-directed path far from traditional academic pipelines. My flagship project, DLEF, is a real-time attention monitoring system achieving 94.76% accuracy, recognised with a Gold Award at USM PIXEL 2025. I also co-founded MeedianAI, a productivity platform with 100+ daily active users, and am enrolled in the WorldQuant University MScFE program. I am drawn to hard problems, rigorous thinking, and building things that matter.
