My name is Milenka Alejandra Guerrero Villavicencio, I am 19 years old, and I am a Physics student at the National Polytechnic School in Ecuador. I graduated as a Bachelor of Science from the Educational Unit of FF.AA. Military College No.1 “Eloy Alfaro” with an outstanding average of 9.82/10. I am a professional salsa dancer and a passionate science communicator, integrating photonics, optics, physics, and computer science to inspire curiosity and innovation in students. I have participated in international and national competitions, including the NASA Space Apps Challenge as a Navigator and the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition, where I reached the Pre-Final Round. I have led scientific projects, such as building telescopes with students, and organized academic workshops and webinars through the Ecuadorian Network of Planetary Sciences and Space Exploration. As an ICSC Ambassador, my goal is to share my experiences and create opportunities for students to explore the connections between computer science, physics, astronomy, and other fields, fostering curiosity, confidence, and creativity. I am committed to inspiring the next generation of innovators and promoting a culture of scientific enthusiasm in my community.
