Hi, I'm Ishbir Singh, a Year 12 student in the UK studying Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science, and Physics, with ambitions to study Mathematics and Computer Science at university. My passion for programming began during lockdown, starting with Scratch and quickly progressing to Unity, web development, and more console-based projects. Over time, I’ve worked on my skills and developed a range of full-fledged software projects. Logical reasoning and problem-solving are my strengths, particularly due to their link to mathematics, and JavaScript is my favourite programming language due to its versatility and efficiency. Outside academics, I enjoy badminton, cricket, and speedcubing - solving Rubik's Cubes competitively, with a personal best of 11.1 seconds on the 3x3 cube. I’ve even combined my interests by creating computer science projects inspired by cubing. I think the ICSC is a great opportunity to help encourage logical thinking, and I hope to have as large of an impact as possible.
