The International Computer Science Competition is committed to making scientific education accessible to students of all backgrounds. Our mission is to empower young technology enthusiasts worldwide to pursue their passion, ensuring no one is left behind due to financial constraints. While organizing a global educational opportunity like ICSC is attached to various costs, we are dedicated to reducing these barriers. With the generous support from our sponsors, we offer limited financial aid to help more students participate in the Pre-Final Round.

Types of Financial Aid

We provide two types of financial aid:

• 50% Cost Reductions: A 50% reduction of the registration costs.
• Full Waivers: A limited number of complete cost waivers.

The availability of financial aid is dependent on sponsorship funding, which may vary from year to year. Certain waivers may be allocated specifically to participants from particular regions or socio-economic groups. It is important to note that the number of financial aid opportunities is very limited, and while we do our best to assist as many participants as possible, receiving aid is not guaranteed.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

To request financial aid, please complete the Financial Aid Request Form by Friday, 12 September 2025. The form is accessible to all Qualification Round participants who have qualified for the Pre-Final Round. The form asks you to provide:

• A description of your financial situation.
• An optional appendix document to provide additional supporting details.

Our team will review all requests and notify applicants about the outcome by Monday, 22 September 2025. Decisions will be sent via e-mail. Please note that exact notification dates may vary for individual participants and that we cannot offer individual feedback on financial aid decisions.

Decision Criteria

To ensure fairness and effectiveness, we evaluate financial aid requests based on the following criteria:

• Demonstrated Need:
  We review the financial information provided in your application. Providing a clear and honest explanation of your financial hardship will help us understand your circumstances.


• Qualification Round Submission:
  Applicants who demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in the Qualification Roundbe given priority, as we strive to support talented individuals who show commitment to the competition.

Important: Due to the limited availability of financial aid, we strongly encourage applicants to explore additional funding options. These may include support from family and friends, local scholarships, grants, or school budgets allocated for extracurricular programs.


All participants who have qualified for the Pre-Final Round will be informed about the financial aid application.
