I’m Emad Sameh Emad Gerges, a high school student from Qalyubia, Egypt, with a strong interest in sustainability, technology, and youth empowerment. Over the past year, I’ve contributed to environmental research with the Green Aura Team, focusing on reducing CO2 emissions from factories and exploring practical ways to minimize industrial pollution. I’ve also helped gather and share educational opportunities for students in Egypt, aiming to make learning more accessible. My curiosity about how technology can support sustainability led me to develop an educational app that teaches programming basics, and I co-founded “Path 2 Code” to provide free coding lessons online. Through this, I’ve realized the power of sharing knowledge and collaborating with others to create positive change. I’m also active in community volunteering, including organizing hospital visits to bring joy to children and supporting mobile medical convoys with the Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation. As an ICSC Ambassador, I hope to engage more young people in climate awareness and action, especially in underserved areas. I believe that through science, creativity, and teamwork, we can tackle the challenges of climate change and build a more sustainable future together.
