Hi, I’m Colin Clement, a Year 12 student based in Dubai, currently studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science for A Level. I’m passionate about making computer science more accessible and exciting for students of all levels. As President of my school’s Technology Society, I organise tech-focused events, such as the Tech Olympics—an interschool hackathon that promotes hands-on learning and collaboration. I also tutor students in GCSE and A-Level Computer Science, helping them gain confidence and problem-solving skills through coding. I’ve participated in competitions such as the Canadian Computing Competition and the International Youth Mathematics Challenge, where my bonus round solution was recognised for its algorithmic thinking. I also hold the Python Certified Entry-Level Programmer (PCEP) certification. As an ICSC Ambassador, I’m committed to fostering a strong CS community within my school by organising workshops, outreach events, and ICSC preparation sessions. I believe the best way to inspire others is through creativity, collaboration, and consistent support, and I look forward to contributing to the global ICSC network.
